2000, my liVe’s second turning point. At that time, clubbing was my main hobby. After 2 failed relationships, I figured it’s probably time to find someone decent.
In a disco?!?! I must be nuts. Eventually I bumped into a babe I knew from ages.
We never really talked much before, but as I laid my eyes on her on Halloween day 1999; my breath was taken away for the first time.
After ratting out my previous employment, I was broke like a broker. Bad habit, gambling.
It came down to overdue: 6 months road tax, 6 months driver’s license, 6 months car installment, 6 engine breakdowns wages a month, 4 months phone bills, 3 months cigarette and lunch money, RM 2,000 Ah Long debt, to name a few.
If someone believes in bottoms, I believe I’ve definitely been there.Mayz matter not how I was humiliated being broke and all. We just hung out for a good company.
When we really talked, I only shared all my darker sides to her; she listened and accepted for who I am.
As the going gets tough… my mom noticed a tow truck dude (sent from the bank) awaiting my presence at our crib (luckily my little Charade was hidden far away).
Of course being a caring mom, she paid my 4-months installment.

All along, Mayz knew about my worries. ‘The sun will shine no matter how bad the storms were’, she explained.

And also take care of my sister, she is not 100% good to me but i am 100% good to her. :)

ReplyDeleteWe all wild boys always try to get GF at discothéque even though successful rate is rather low at that time.
And you are one lucky man, you still managed to get a GF and later turned out to be your wife when you were at rock bottom. If i were in your position when i was courting my wife, i wouldn't have chance to make her my GF at the first place, having so many QC departments in her family.
Also, *salute* mum for clearing your 4 months installments, she loves you all with her kindest heart although she nags a fair bit. Who doesn't ? LOL

ReplyDeleteDid I ever tell you that your sister cornered me one night after clubbing and ranted about you ? I had a earful of your mischievous deeds. All I can say is that you have a very concerned family that cares dearly for you.
Its through misfortune and hardship that we learn our true self. From there we work to better ourself for the people around us and making sure never to go to that low point in your life again.
